Short description

At the end of Kirchberg you will find the family owned Taxacherhof. From here you can reach the Gaisberg, the ski-school, the ski-rent and the Pengelsteinbahn.

The Ski run is available with a good snow situation up to the hotel. The hotel has a dining room with a panoramic view from the window, a modern bar, a gourmet restaurant and an a la carte restaurant.

Hotel information

New in December 2007 is the renovated and larger wellness area. It is decorated in a modern style and includes a Finnish sauna, infra-red sauna, steam bath and separate relaxing room.

Room information

All rooms in the Hotel Taxacherhof have a balcony and all common facilities. Included in the room rate is the use of the sauna, steam bath, open-air swimming pool and table tennis tables.

Food and beverages

Half-board:
A breakfast buffet is served each day from 07:30 - 09:30. For half-board guests, a three-course menu with a choice of main courses, and salads from the buffet is available for dinner each day between 18:00 and 20:00. Once a week, a typical Tyrolean Farmers Buffet is served.

The à la carte restaurant, Taxacher Stub'n, with typical Tyrolean dishes, tempts you with delicious home fair and complementary wines. The restaurant is open for lunch from 11:30 to 14:00 and for dinner from 17:00 to 21:45. In between these times, tasty snacks are on offer.

The second à la carte restaurant, Geniesserrestaurant Rosengarten, run by the chef, who is the owner of the hotel and restaurants, serves French/Mediterranean dishes (awarded with 1 Michelin star and 3 bonnets Gault Millau).

Area information

Kirchberg in Tyrol stands for Mountain-biking, Paragliding and Hiking in the summer months. Naturally, the winter offers classics like skiing, cross-country skiing, and ice-skating. But, consider something more unusual like Snowshoe Hiking, Night Skiing, Tobogganing and evening Hikes with fire torches, to mention just a few possibilities.

From the north: Motorway Munich – Kufstein – exit at ramp Wörgl East - Brixental (The motorway stretch from Kufstein south to the off ramp Wörgl is Toll free).

From the south: Brenner Motorway – Wörgl East – Brixental.

From the East: Salzburg Motorway – the Lofer road –St. Johann.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children under 2 years are charged EUR 6.00 per night and person for cots.
All children from 4 to 6 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.

All older children or adults are charged 90 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
