By Car:From the A2 (Graz, Klagenfurt):
- Head in the direction of Praha.
- Exit at Erdberg/ Zentrum.
- Head along the Danube canal and cross at Salztorbruecke.
- Take Via Salztorgasse, Vorlaufstrasse, Marc-Aurel-Strasse left into Hoher Markt.
- Turn left again into Rotenturmstrasse and take the 1st right into Fleischmarkt.
- Directly opposite restaurant Griechenbeisl you have to turn right into Wolfengasse.
From the A1 (Linz, Salzburg):
- Exit at Zentrum.
- Follow the signs for Zentrum (centre) along Hietzinger Hauptstr., Schoenbrunner Schlossstr. and Rechte Wienzeile;
- At Opernring you turn left and follow the ring road and Franz-Josefs-Kai.
- At Salztorgasse turn right into via Vorlaufstrasse.
- Take Marc-Aurel-Strasse left into Hoher Markt.
- Turn left again into Rotenturmstrasse and take the 1st right into Fleischmarkt.
- Directly opposite restaurant Griechenbeisl you have to turn right into Wolfengasse.
By Train:
From west station. Take the underground line U3 in the direction of Simmering. Exit station Stephansplatz, follow Rotenturmstrasse, right into Fleischmarkt. Take the 2nd small street right into Wolfengasse.
A taxi from the west station will take about 20 minutes.
From south station: Take the underground line U1 from Suedtirolerplatz in the direction of Kagran until station Schwedenplatz. Take exit Schwedenplatz. Follow Laurenzerberg and then turn right into Fleischmarkt. Take the 1st left into Wolfengasse.
A taxi from the south station takes about 15 minutes.
By aeroplane:
Take the public bus (every 30 minutes) to Morzinplatz. From there it is a 5-minute walk (via Franz-Josefs-Kai, Rotenturmstrasse and Fleischmarkt) to Hotel Austria.
A taxi from the airport will take about 30 minutes.
The hotel can arrange airport limousine service at a rate of EUR 34.00 for a taxi and EUR 45.00 for a minibus (from Bratislava airport: taxi EUR 81.00, minibus EURO 91.00).
